Israel Institute Visiting Scholar
Dr. Artur-Or Honig was born and raised in Israel. He studied Middle East History at the University of Haifa, and later International Relations at the Hebrew University and at UCLA. He was a postdoctoral fellow at the University of Calgary, and later worked in the following universities: Tel Aviv University, Duke University, Tokyo International University. He has published 22 peer reviewed articles and 3 book chapters on diverse issues such as: President Truman's decision to recognize Israel, the Yom Kippur War surprise attacks, the Israeli strategy during the Al-Aqsa Intifada. He is passionate both about his teaching and his research.
