Minors
The Center for Jewish Studies offers a minor with similar parameters to the major though with fewer credit requirements.
Program Overview
The Jewish Studies minor is 15 credit hours. Students must take Introduction to Judaism (3 credits) or a related course. The remaining 12 credits should be courses at the 3000-level or above. Students must complete a minimum of six credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
Students must work with the undergraduate advisor to design a minor curriculum that will give a sampling of the Jewish experience across time and across disciplines.

Hebrew Studies Minor
Students must complete a minimum of six credits of coursework exclusive to the minor that cannot count toward the major(s) or other minors.
Students with background or prior study in Hebrew may be eligible to replace some language instruction courses other Hebrew content courses. Please consult with the faculty in the Bud Shorstein Center for Jewish Studies.
